The Championship returns to action this weekend after a break for the FA Cup, and we've got a busy Saturday, with 10 of the 12 games taking place that day. West Brom are currently in the playoffs, and will be looking to maintain their position when they host Blackburn Rovers at The Hawthorns.

They're in 5th with 42 points, some way off the automatic race, but three points clear of the chasing pack in the playoff race, it's now simply a case of keeping that up.
They were in FA Cup action last weekend against lower opposition in Aldershot, a non league team. They avoided any issues with a comfortable 4-1 success to reach the 4th round. Before that, it was a 1-0 loss in the league to Swansea, but before that, two big wins against Leeds and Norwich, two other sides aiming for promotion.
Blackburn Form GuideGo back a few weeks, Blackburn were in the race for the playoffs, and while I didn't expect them to stay there, the drop off has been quite alarming. They have slid down the table at a rapid rate, and coming into this game, they are in 17th position, with 32 points on the board.
That's down to a run of five league games without a win, and just one win from their last eight. The most recent of those was a 2-2 draw at home to bottom of the league Rotherham, before that, it was four league losses in a row. They did win in the cup last weekend though, a 5-2 home win over League One side Cambridge.
Match PredictionI am siding with West Brom to win this game, they should have far too much quality for the current version of Blackburn we are seeing right now. It's not clicking for the away side, and I see more pain for them here, with West Brom winning this.
