They are currently 4th, and crucially, have a four point gap over Roma in 5th coming into the weekend, and they are only five points off AC Milan up in 3rd. It's game on, and they are in the ascendency.
That's been down to some excellent play all season, but in particular, they've been excellent in recent weeks. They have won their last six games. Three of those have been with a clean sheet, and the most recent was a great 2-1 away win at Atalanta, a team also in the run for the top four spot.
Inter Milan Form GuideBologna have won six games in a row, a great record, but Inter Milan have doubled that, with 12 wins in a row in all competitions. That's won them the Italian Super Cup, got them a win in the Champions League, and not only taken them back to the top of the league, but allowed them to run away with it.
They played on Monday night, and won 2-1 against Genoa. Before that, it was a much more impressive win for the league leaders as they won 4-0 at home to Atalanta, a really impressive performance and one that shows why they are seemingly on their way to landing the Serie A title.
Match PredictionA big game, and one of the games of the weekend I think. Bologna get a huge amount of respect from me for what they've done recently, but I don't think they are going to win this. I am siding with Inter Milan to take it, a team on a role, who are playing at the top of their game right now.
