England Team News
England remains unbeaten in Germany, but morale is low amongst the supporters who have watched a tame Three Lions stumble from one poor performance to the next. England beat Serbia in their opening game but have drawn each of their outings since, including that uninspiring 1-1 with Slovakia.
England fell behind in that match and needed a late goal from Jude Bellingham to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. They aren’t looking like the team that made it to the finals of Euro 2020 and certainly don’t look like the pre-competition pundits’ pick. Is there more to come from Southgate’s squad?
Southgate faces an enforced change with Marc Guehi suspended after picking up another yellow card against Slovakia with Joe Gomez a possible replacement.
Switzerland Team News
Switzerland has surprised more than a few people in Germany after battling through behind Germany in a tricky Group A, despite drawing with the locals and Scotland. Critics call them an ageing side with not much more to offer, but they’re still going and have every chance of beating England and making it through to the last four.
We last saw the Swiss in action last Saturday when they upset the odds to beat Italy 2-0 and dump the holders out of the competition. Few people saw that win coming for the Swiss, but they were fully deserved victors and never looked like losing the contest. Beating the champions would’ve given the Swiss fresh confidence and belief.
The Swiss breathed a sigh of relief when learning captain Granit Xhaka was passed as fit while Silvan Widmer returns from suspension.

Prediction
England has failed to live up to expectations at Euro 2024, while Switzerland is performing much better than expected. There’s no doubt the Swiss have been the better team so far, but England aren’t cooked yet, especially with the likes of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham in their ranks.
We expect another tight game between England and Switzerland after seeing no more than one goal separate the nations in their last three meetings. Back both teams to score, and the game to end as a draw for your shot at great odds.
